Enrollment and Billing for Texas Customers

All Texas customers are required to complete a credit check at the time of enrollment with Viridian as the Retail Energy Provider (REP). Customers who do not meet the credit score threshold will still be able to enroll by submitting a refundable deposit at the time of enrollment. Deposits can be paid by credit card, check or money order.
 
LITE-UP program: Customers eligible for the LITE-UP discount program can break their deposit into two installments. Credit-related inquiries should be directed to the customer verification team at 844.296.5951 Monday through Friday 9:30-4:30pm or by email at verification@viridian.com. More information on the LITE-UP program can be found on the Public Utility Commission site.
 
Billing: In Texas, Viridian customers will receive one bill from Viridian. This bill will include Viridian’s energy supply charges as well as the distribution and transmission charges. Customers will pay Viridian directly. Distribution and transmission in Texas is handled by Transmission/Distribution Service Providers (TDSPs), who provide their charges to Viridian. Payments can be made online, by phone, by check or by visiting an energy payment center.
